Vintage and Antique Light Fixtures

Some of the most unique and interesting light fixtures I have seen are the vintage and antique styles. If I can find original versions, then it is all the better.  However, there are many that you can get that are replicas that look just like the originals.

When it comes to lighting to add class and style to a dinner then using antique buffet lamps works wonderfully! These are smaller, decorative lamps, that using a softer light bulb can cast a gorgeous glow over a room. They are usually used on buffet carts, but they could also be placed as a centerpiece or on a small table.

However, if using a buffet lamp isn’t your style then there are always vintage floor lamps . Tall, with decorative bases, these can light up corners of rooms and change a blank corner to eye an catching space. Finally, antique chandeliers with their ornate designs, multiple light sockets, and overall larger size, these chandeliers add a focal point and have stylish appeal because of the original design and uniqueness.

Having some vintage or antique flare and style can always be added even when the overall room may not be that way!  Mixing and matching brings depth and intrigue to any room.
